Our Story
Graceful Consulting was established in 2020, initially concentrating on assisting healthcare organizations in developing effective systems to enhance the quality of care. As we have broadened our service offerings to encompass human resources, corporate compliance, risk management, policy and procedure development, quality improvement, and training needs, we are now positioned to collaborate with a wide array of organizations.
MEET THE CEO
Dr. Denequal Brown, founder and CEO of Graceful Consulting & Advanced Healthcare Group, has enjoyed a long and varied career in the healthcare arena. She began her healthcare journey working in an assisted living facility as a Personal Care Assistant and Med Technician. Developing a deep compassion for nursing and helping others, she pursued and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Queens University of Charlotte in 2011.

From this point, Dr. Brown’s career progressed quickly. She served in various roles over the next several years including as Inpatient Nurse, where she also acted as New Nurse Academy Coach/Mentor, and Charge Nurse, where she served as a co-chair of a research team that was recognized for the reduction of Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTIs) on her unit. Other nursing roles and settings included medical surgical units, outpatient/primary care settings, home health, case management, and PACE centers.
Through the diversity of service to North Carolina’s communities and various leadership roles, Dr. Brown took part in many quality improvement (QI) activities and initiatives. The commitment to improving patient outcomes through QI became Dr. Brown’s next passion and area of focus, leading her to serve as Chief Compliance and Nursing Officer within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). In this executive leadership role, she was responsible for the oversight of the organization’s Compliance, Quality Improvement, Clinical, Human Resources, Care Management, and Data Analytics departments.

In 2021, Dr. Brown received her Master and Doctorate degrees in Nursing from Medical University of South Carolina and founded Graceful Consulting & Advanced Healthcare Group, PLLC.

Dr. Brown has received many awards and honors for her compassion and dedication throughout her career such as I-Care awards, Geriatric Resource Nurse, Nursing Beat Author, 2022 Who’s Who Top Nursing Professionals, and others. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the North Carolina Nurses Association, and serves as a board member for KM Elite, a non-profit organization whose focus is to enhance the mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of youth in the community.
